Astrotel lends a helping hand to the affected families of the fire incident that damaged several houses in the Port Area, Manila.

Nearly a month since the fire incident, life has not yet returned to normal for Barangay 650 Zone 68 Pier 15 Port Area Manila residents. The affected families temporarily stayed in their tent along 11th Street Railroad Drive, located behind the Philippine Red Cross office.

Astrotel Avenida, through Mr. John Henry Lacanilao, Branch Manager, and Mr. Marlon Hermosa, Sector Head, volunteers to donate about 1,000 linens, 150 bottled water, five boxes of clothes, and 1,000 hygiene kits to the affected families.

With the help of Barangay Chairman Salik Arongo and his constituents, the donations became successful last July 9, 2021.
